“Star Wars: Rebellion – Rise of the Empire” is not a standalone game, but an expansion for the strategic board game “Star Wars: Rebellion”, largely inspired by the film “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”. Thanks to new ships, fighters, tanks and improved tactic cards, battles become even fiercer and truly cinematic.

Expansion Overview

You will be able to send Jyn Erso and Cassian Andor in search of the Death Star plans. Confuse the Imperials with false orders and strikes in the rear. Command Director Krennic and his elite death troopers. Set traps for Rebel pilots and soldiers, luring them out of the base into large battles. Even Jabba the Hutt appears in the game — offering his services to the Empire and feeding prisoners to the Sarlacc.

Overall, Rise of the Empire adds eight new leaders, 36 plastic miniatures, five objective markers, two ring attachments, three new dice and over one hundred new cards. You will get new ways to disrupt your opponent’s plans and open an entirely new chapter in your Galactic Civil War!
