“The Witcher: Old World – Wild Hunt” is not a standalone game, but an expansion to the fantasy adventure board game “The Witcher: Old World”. This is a large-scale expansion that adds a completely new cooperative mode to the game, and also allows you to play in solo mode. Now players will have to confront the ruthless warriors from another dimension — the riders of the Wild Hunt — together or alone.

What does this expansion add?

The “The Witcher: Old World – Wild Hunt” expansion significantly changes the gameplay. Instead of taking turns, all players perform their actions simultaneously, which adds a new level of tactical planning to the game. Encounters between witchers no longer lead to combat — instead, they can train together, exchange gold, potions, and valuable information about the monsters that threaten the surrounding areas.

A game lasts several rounds. At the end of each of them, the Wild Hunt summons new monsters or Hounds and advances across the board, attacking the witchers.

The climax of the game will be an epic battle with one of the most powerful warriors of the Wild Hunt — Eredin. All players join forces to defeat him, but it will not be easy: Eredin has a set of unique and extremely powerful attacks that turn the final confrontation into a real challenge even for the most experienced monster hunters.

The “Wild Hunt” expansion can be combined with such expansions as “Mages” and “Monster Trail”.
