Dobble (also known as Dobbl, Double, Dabble) is a very simple and fun game for any group. It has gained its popularity due to the simplicity of its rules, the high speed of play, and the fact that it’s hard to stop once you start playing.
Spotting Matches
An exciting family game about finding matches on the cards. The board game "Dobble" (also known as "Spot It!") was created in 2009. Between 2010-2012, the game was nominated for awards such as "Les Trois Lys," "Gouden Ludo," "Hra roku," and "Japan Boardgame Prize." In 2013, it won the "Ludoteca Ideale" competition in the category of "Best Children's Game." The game combines fun with learning—adults will enjoy the experience, and children will have the opportunity to train their attention and reaction speed.
Many Game Variants
The rules offer 5 different types of mini-competitions, each taking just over 5-10 minutes. For example, you can place the deck in the center of the table and give each player one card. Then, players reveal their cards and try to identify the matching symbol on the top card in the center of the deck. The player who does this first takes the card. When the Dobble deck runs out, the player with the most cards wins. Additionally, there are mini-games where cards are discarded or even passed between players. Of course, you could play just one round of Dobble and set the game aside. But we guarantee that once you’ve started playing Dobble, you won’t be able to stop until you’ve played more than a dozen rounds. In this case, the publisher suggests using a ranking system that tracks your results in Dobble from game to game.
