About the Game

This is a brand-new version of the famous game «Ticket to Ride», which takes you to New York in the second half of the 20th century. It’s a great chance to "stroll" through its streets and see all the landmarks—if you plan your route correctly, of course. The city map in the game is quite small, so a session plays out much faster than in the original game—about 15 minutes, making it a great choice for family play with kids. Plus, it’s perfect when you don’t have time for a long game or want to quickly and enjoyably learn the rules.

Gameplay

The gameplay of "Ticket to Ride: New York" is similar to the base game. The difference is that you’re not traveling by train between cities but using public transport within Manhattan and Brooklyn. Otherwise, it's the same! Draw destination cards and build the best routes.

On your turn, you can either draw 2 cards from the transport deck, establish a route from point to point, or draw additional destination cards. There’s also a wildcard here: instead of a colorful locomotive, you can hop into a colorful taxi that will get you to your destination much faster than a bus.
