A lively party game testing attentiveness and reflexes, with a name reminiscent of a children’s counting rhyme. It all starts with a taco and ends with a pizza.
The Game Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza
In this game, you’ll be placing cards on the table while saying aloud "taco, cat, goat, cheese, pizza," regardless of what’s depicted or written on the cards. You’ll also need to perform specific actions whenever special cards—like a gorilla, groundhog, or narwhal—appear in the game.
Gameplay
Before the game begins, all players are dealt an equal number of face-down cards, forming each player’s personal deck. Taking turns, you start flipping the top card from your deck into the center, revealing it while reciting the rhyme. The first player says "taco," the second says "cat," and so on… until a player’s spoken word matches the image on their card. This event is called a "match" in the game. When it happens, all players race to slap their hands on the cards in the center of the table. The last player to slap takes all the cards and adds them to the bottom of their deck.
The winner is the player who gets rid of all their cards and is the first to slap the center pile when a match occurs or a special card is played.
