“SETI: Space Agencies” is the first expansion to the strategic board game “SETI: Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence”. This expansion introduces powerful asymmetrical organizations. Each has unique abilities, strategic advantages, and starting conditions that completely change your approach to searching for alien life.

Expansion Overview

Now you lead one of these organizations — from private tech giants to global research networks — bringing your own perspective and specialized tools to the mission. This opens up bold new strategies and encourages long-term planning.

Besides the organizations, the expansion adds three new types of aliens (each with their own tokens) and over forty new project cards inspired by real scientific initiatives. All integrate seamlessly into the base deck and offer even more gameplay variety.

Special “Quick Start” cards allow you to skip the slow early round and jump straight into the action. They add an extra layer of asymmetry during setup and are especially handy for quick games with fewer players.

And there are also signal tokens — a small but very pleasant new mechanism that makes scanning more efficient.
