The Game Love Letter
“Love Letter” is a quick and compact board game for 2-4 players that plunges you into a whirlwind of courtly intrigue. Your mission? Deliver your secret message to Princess Annette. You’ll need to entrust your note to intermediaries, relying on those closest to her—but your rivals are also vying for the fair lady’s favor.
Gameplay
Each game consists of several rounds. At the end of each round, one player successfully delivers their letter to Princess Annette. Rounds begin with each player receiving one card, depicting a character with a unique ability and a number indicating their closeness to the princess—the higher the number, the closer they are. On your turn, draw a card from the deck and discard one of your two cards, triggering its ability. The round’s winner is the player who ends with the highest-ranking character still in hand, closest to the princess. Their letter reaches her, earning them a favor token.
The game’s victor is the first to collect the required number of favor tokens, proving they’ve unlocked the key to the princess’s heart.
