Cubitos is a dice-based racing game where players roll dice to move their main runner cube to the finish line first. While luck plays a role, players must also build a solid strategy by creating the optimal dice pool, adding new dice, and discarding weaker ones.
The Cubic World of Cubitos
Players are transported to the cubic world of Cubitos to participate in an annual cross-country race. Each player receives a runner token and a starting support team consisting of "weak" light-gray and dark-gray dice. Throughout the game, players will move their runners along the track and purchase more advanced dice to use their effects to reach the finish line first.
The base game includes a variety of ability card sets and 4 tracks: "Upside Down," "Distortion Witnesses," "A Drop of Water," and "Plenty of Water." After gathering the necessary components—tokens, player boards, markers, and starting dice—players place their runners at the starting line. The first player receives the first-player die, which does not count toward their dice limit.
The winner is the player who reaches the finish line first.
